On 04/19/2024, Major Crime Detectives served an active arrest warrant for the accused, Michael Reese, DOB 12/2/1984, of Willimantic, at Danielson Superior Court.
Reese, who was in the custody of the CT Department of Correction, was processed at the court and charged with the following violations:
C.G.S. 53a-54a, Murder
C.G.S. 53a-54c, Felony Murder
C.G.S. 53a-49/53a-70, Criminal Attempt to Commit Sexual Assault in the First Degree
Reese was held on a $2 million cash or surety bond, presented for a same-day arraignment and remains in the custody of the CT Department of Correction.
