Vehicle Blocking Driveway Entrance of Troop H- Hartford Leads to Two Arrests for Prostitution; Trespassing

On Tuesday, 05/06/25 at approximately 12:31 AM, A Trooper assigned to Troop H- Hartford attempted to pull into the restricted access parking lot of the barracks and observed that the gated entry way was completely obstructed by a white Porsche Macan sport utility vehicle, just beyond clearly posted signage indicating "Restricted Area No Trespassing Beyond This Point."

As the Trooper was unable to access the gate, they placed their cruiser in park and approached the Porsche to check on the occupants. Upon approaching the driver side window of the Porsche, the Trooper observed a male in the driver seat and a female in the front passenger seat, both in various states of undress engaged in lewd activities. The Trooper requested both compose themselves and exit the vehicle, to which they complied.

As additional units arrived on scene, the male operator was identified as Willie Ferrell (DOB 03/12/91), of Bloomfield, and his female passenger was identified as Diandra Lysik (DOB 05/02/77), of Hartford. While speaking with Ferrell, Troopers observed clear signs of impairment and requested he submit to Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. Ferrell agreed to submit to testing and did not perform to standard.

Troopers spoke with Lysik separately, who explained that Ferrell had picked her up at a different location. While no direct admission of a transaction was made, three (3) loose ten dollar bills were later located in the top area of Lysik's purse, indicative of being placed there recently. Lysik later explained to Troopers that she does engage in sex work.

Both Ferrell and Lysik were subsequently arrested and escorted into Troop H for processing. A subsequent inventory search of Lysik's purse revealed the previously mentioned $30 in cash, as well as suspected narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia. Wax folds containing a white powdery substance were located, to which Lysik explained was fentanyl. The substance was later field tested and showed a positive presumptive result as fentanyl. A white rocklike substance was also located, which was also field tested and showed a positive presumptive result as crack cocaine.

Ferrell was processed on the following charges:

CGS 14-227a; Illegal Operation of a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs

CGS 14-251(b); Improper Parking

CGS 53a-109; Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree

CGS 53a-83(a)(1); Soliciting Sexual Acts/Exchange for Sexual Conduct

Ferrell was later released from custody on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Hartford Superior Court on 05/30/25.

Lysik was processed on the following charges:

CGS 21a-267(a); Use Of Drug Paraphernalia

CGS 21a-279(a)(1); Possession of a Controlled Substance

CGS 53a-109; Criminal Trespass 3rd Degree

CGS 53a-83(a)(1); Soliciting Sexual Acts/Exchange for Sexual Conduct

Lysik was held on a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Hartford Superior Court on 05/06/25. Please see the attached criminal information summary.
