A motor vehicle pursuit in which a CSP Trooper may not have complied with the Statewide Pursuit Policy is under CSP review. During this incident, which occurred in the Troop E area, the Trooper sought and obtained authorization from a supervisor to intentionally collide with a fleeing vehicle. Thanks to members of the motoring public who offered tips, State Police arrested a Thomaston man on multiple motor vehicle charges. Via social media, the Washington Resident Trooper’s Office posted photos of two vehicles that had reportedly been traveling recklessly in western Connecticut. During the investigation, Troopers and Washington Officers asked the public for help in identifying the operator of both vehicles, who reportedly passed other vehicles and school buses in a
