Two Arrested Following Active Disturbance on Hartford Pike in Killingly

On Monday, 05/05/25 at approximately 1:40 PM, personnel from Troop D- Danielson and Killingly Police were dispatched to a residence on Hartford Pike in Killingly for an active disturbance. It was reported to Troop D that the victim was struck over the head by a hard object and physically threatened with a knife.

Upon arrival on scene, Troopers and Officers met with the victim and complainant. The victim was visibly bleeding from his head and was treated on scene by EMS personnel. It was learned that the victim owned the property and the complainant had accompanied the victim to assist with an assessment and inspection. Upon their arrival, they had determined that occupants who had been legally evicted months prior were still present at the residence. The victim and complainant initially made contact with Jonathan Williams (DOB 05/05/75), of Killingly, who reportedly spoke to them through the door and became belligerent when the pair reminded him that he had been evicted and should not be on the property. Williams subsequently opened the door and was reportedly brandishing a knife at this time and threatening both the victim and complainant that he was going to kill them.

During the altercation, the victim was struck over the head by a hard object, which was thrown by another occupant from within the residence. The object was later determined to have been a glass bottle, and both the victim and the complainant confirmed the bottle was thrown by Ayden Williams (DOB 04/03/2006), also of Killingly. Ayden Williams was still on the property upon police arrival and was arrested without incident. Jonathan Williams had fled on foot once the victim and the complainant told him they called the police. A K9 track was initiated, and additional units began patrolling the area to locate Jonathan Williams. A Trooper located Jonathan Williams on foot a short distance away and he was arrested without incident. Jonathan Williams was found in possession of a box cutter at the time of his arrest, which was seized as evidence. It was also determined that he had a total of seven (7) Failure to Appear arrest warrants.

Both were later transported to Troop D for processing and processed on the following charges:
