On Saturday, October 29, 2022, at approximately 5:25 PM, Troopers from Troop L - Litchfield and Woodbury Officers were dispatched to 787 Main Street S., in the town of Woodbury, for a reported assault. During the course of the investigation, troopers identified an adult male victim who participated in an altercation in the parking lot of the establishment and sustained a suspected stab wound to the his upper torso. The male party was transported by paramedics to Waterbury Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. This incident remains under investigation.

Vehicle #1 - 2 door coupe sedan color gray, unknown make/model.
Vehicle #2 - 2 door sedan color red, possibly a Chevrolet Monte Carlo
Vehicle #3 - 2 door GMC Sierra pickup truck, with a hard top and a sweep attached to the rear bumper
