On June, 04, 2022, at approximately 12:55 AM, an adult male contacted the New Fairfield Police Department stating that he had been stabbed in his driveway on Route 37, in New Fairfield. The caller and another family member confronted unknown males outside of their residence when the assault occurred. New Fairfield Police and State Troopers from Troop A initially responded. The State Police Western District Major Crime Squad was requested and assumed the investigation. State Police Detectives have identified some of the assailants. At least one of the assailants is known to one of the victims. This is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public. The investigation is active and ongoing.
