Investigators have learned that a female pedestrian, identified as Bianca Devlin, DOB 09/29/1995, was also struck while standing adjacent to the male pedestrian, Thomas Mieles, DOB 09/09/1995. Mieles sustained life threatening injuries and was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. Devlin was also transported from the scene to Yale New Haven Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
