Update: Operator Identified from Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision on Route 8 in Thomaston

Connecticut State Police working in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) have identified the victim of the fatal collision which occurred on Route 8 in Thomaston on 11/12/2024.

The vehicle operator was positively identified by the OCME as Lester Y. Rivera-Santiago (DOB: 08/10/1983), of Waterbury.

The next of kin has been notified.
