State Police Needs Your Assistance

On 10/20/24 at 0230 hours, Troop K personnel responded to the 7-11 gas station and convenience store located at 52 Route 66 in Columbia for a reported armed robbery.  The suspect entered the store holding a silver revolver and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk.  The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’6”-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, grey pants, black shoes, black face covering, and dark colored gloves.  The clerk gave the suspect money and cigarettes and the he suspect was last seen running from the store on foot toward Route 66 then possibly drove away from the scene in a dark colored SUV.  EDMC-K is investigating the robbery.
