Troopers assigned to the Connecticut State Police Traffic Services Unit, trained in Commercial Vehicle Inspections, responded to assist with this investigation. Members of the CSP Traffic Services Unit conduct strategic enforcement operations throughout the state - targeting speeding trucks and aggressive drivers, conducting size and weight inspections, and performing roadside safety inspections of commercial vehicles.
