Congratulations to the newest class of State Police Dispatchers, our partners in law enforcement and the first voice citizens hear when they call 911.
Today, 13 men and women graduated from the Dispatch Training Academy #11, completing an eight-week program. The trainees now move onto their assigned Troops to complete an eight-week field training program. Two of the graduates have prior experience dispatching at other agencies.
New Dispatchers Frank Quadrino and Keith Gunter were presented with the Dispatcher Carrie Shaw Gold Line Award, given to the dispatcher trainee who goes above and beyond to ensure not only their own success, but the success of his/her peers.
Commissioner Ronnell Higgins and Colonel Daniel Loughman proudly welcomed the new dispatchers!
