Plainfield Man Arrested for Illegal Disposal of Body; Tampering with Evidence Following Human Remains Discovery in Thompson

On Thursday, 09/18/25 at approximately 10:50 am, Eastern District Major Crimes Detectives arrested Vendetta Robinson (DOB 02/20/81), of Plainfield, on the strength of an active arrest warrant. The warrant for Robinson's arrest stemmed from the discovery of skeletal human remains off of Lowell Davis Rd in Thompson in October 2024.
The remains were later positively identified as Alicia Balderston (DOB 10/08/90), who had been previously reported as a missing person from the town of Plainfield. Robinson was identified as a person of interest during the course of this investigation and later admitted his involvement to Detectives.
Robinson was processed on the following charges pursuant to the arrest warrant:
CGS 7-64; Illegal Disposal of a Human Body
CGS 7-69; Illegal Removal of a Human Body
CGS 53a-155(a)(1); Tampering with Physical Evidence
Robinson was later released from custody on a $20,000 court set bond and is scheduled to appear at Danielson Superior Court on 09/25/25. Please see the attached arrest warrant and criminal information summary.
