Investigation into Physical Altercation in Essex

Preliminary reports show that at approximately 8:30pm, Troopers responded to the area of Main Street in Essex. Further investigation showed that a physical altercation occurred at the Sunoco gas station and two individuals were transported to area medical facilities for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are being evaluated and an immediate status is unavailable. Central District Major Crime Squad is responding and the scene is active. The investigation is in its very early stages and this is the only information available for release at this time.
