Firearms & Narcotics Seizures

On April 16, 2021 members of the Connecticut State Police - Statewide Firearms Trafficking Task Force (SFTTF) and Waterbury Police Department assisted Waterbury Parole Office in conducting a compliance check of parolee Kevin Santos (D.O.B: 11-14-1997). During the course of this investigation, law enforcement personnel discovered approximately 137 grams of cocaine, 4.8 grams of crack cocaine, and 29 Xanax bars.

A subsequent search of Santos' residence yielded a loaded Colt Python .357 revolver and a loaded Ruger EC9S 9mm semi-automatic pistol, both inside Santos’ bedroom.

As a result of this investigation, Santos was arrested for multiple firearms and drug related charges and held on a $500,000 casy/surety bond. The Waterbury Police Gangs Unit, acting on information gathered during the above arrest, obtained a search warrant for one of the bays in the above referenced garage, the subsequent search of which yielded the seizure of one kilogram of cocaine.
