The Connecticut State Police continue to actively respond to calls for service as winter weather conditions impact communities across the state. Our highest priority remains the safety of the public and our troopers. We are working closely with local public safety partners, emergency management, and road crews to address hazardous conditions as efficiently and safely as possible.
Residents are strongly encouraged to limit travel unless necessary, use extreme caution when driving, and report emergencies by calling 911. Non-emergency matters should be directed to the appropriate non-emergency channels when available.
Below is a summary of calls for service handled by the Connecticut State Police during the winter storm period from December 26 at 6:00 p.m. through December 27 at 6:00 a.m.:
Calls for Service | 614 |
Accidents without injuries | 71 |
