The Connecticut State Police had 4,895 calls for service, assisted 419 motorists, responded to 282 accidents, 1 with serious injuries and 3 resulting in fatalities, made 32 DUI arrests, issued 454 citations for speeding and 96 seatbelt citations. We issued 371 citations for hazardous moving violations (to include: unsafe lane change, following too closely, move over, etc). These are reflective of the time period beginning on Friday, May 27th at midnight and ending at 11:59 pm, on Sunday, May 29th, 2022.
