The Connecticut State Police had 3,402 calls for service, assisted 282 motorists, responded to 207 accidents with 1 resulting in fatality, made 19 DUI arrests, issued 277 citations for speeding and 71 seatbelt citations. We issued 224 citations for hazardous moving violations (to include: unsafe lane change, following too closely, move over, etc). These are reflective of the time period beginning on Friday, May 27th at midnight and ending at 11:59 pm, on Saturday, May 28th, 2022.
