Victim found on I-91 in Windsor Locks Identified; Detectives seek witnesses to incident

The victim of a fatal shooting on I-91 in Windsor Locks on Sunday has been identified as Dominique Kendrick Miller, D.O.B. 8/31/1998, of Bloomfield.


State Police Detectives continue to seek the help of any witnesses to this incident. On Sunday, August 29, 2021, at approximately 7:35 p.m. Troop H – Hartford received a report of an unresponsive male on the I-91 Northbound, exit 42 off-ramp, in Windsor Locks. Responding Troopers located an unresponsive adult male inside of a vehicle suffering from apparent gunshot wounds; the male was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives from the Central District Major Crime Unit responded to the scene to commence an investigation. Detectives ask any witnesses to this fatal shooting to contact them at Troop H at 860-534-1040. All calls will remain confidential.
