Troopers Investigate Suspicious Vehicle in Sterling; Found to be Stolen out of RI

Troopers from Troop D-Danielson investigated a suspicious vehicle on Sterling Rd in Sterling. The vehicle was found abandoned, left running. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Rhode Island. Further investigation revealed an attempted larceny of another vehicle at a private residence nearby. Troopers were alerted to this on scene from an active, audible car alarm. This vehicle was found with its rear windshield smashed and the ignition tampered. A K9 track was conducted, and the suspect was located and arrested. The suspect was learned to be a juvenile offender. See attached press release.
