On May 7th, 2024 at approximately 12:39 AM, the Manchester Police Department contacted Troop H-Hartford after Manchester Officers were approached by an individual who reported to them that their rear window was shot out on I-384 Westbound near exit 1. No injuries were reported, and the victim was operating a black Acura RL sedan. Preliminary information available at this time indicates that the suspect vehicle is reported to be a BMW 3 Series sedan, color grey. This appears to have been an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public at this time. Anyone who was traveling in the area during the time of the incident who may have witnessed these vehicles, or has any available dash camera footage of these vehicles, or of the incident itself is asked to contact Trooper Charles Luby at Troop H, 860-534-1000 or by email at charles.luby@ct.gov.
