Tractor Trailer Rollover Causes Extended Road Closure in Colebrook

On Tuesday, 10/04/2022, at approximately 4:22 AM, Troopers assigned to Troop B in North Canaan responded to a report of a a tractor trailer rollover, on Route 8 (Colebrook River Road.) in the area of Sandy Brook Road, in the Town of Colebrook. No other vehicles were involved. No injuries were reported by the tractor trailer operator. Colebrook River Road is expected to remain closed for several hours while damaged utility poles are repaired. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes and avoid the area.
