Trooper First Class Marwing Pena turned himself in to Troop I today (May 13, 2026) on charges of 53a-254: Computer Crime 3rd Degree. Pena was processed and released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.  After being charged, Pena was placed on administrative leave, with his police powers suspended immediately. Pena was hired as a Trooper in October 2018 and was most recently assigned to Troop H in Hartford.
