State Police to Graduate 32 New Troopers in Ceremony Thursday, Dec. 28

 

The Connecticut State Police Training Academy will graduate 32 members of the 134th Training Troop on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Welte Auditorium on the campus of Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

 

The Commissioner of the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, Ronnell A. Higgins, and Interim Colonel Daniel Loughman, Commander of the Connecticut State Police, will preside over the graduation exercises. The State Police Command Staff will be in attendance to receive the new graduates. A member of the graduating class will represent the new Troopers as Class Speaker during the ceremony. Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz is scheduled to attend and address the graduates.

 

This graduating class has been in training for more than six months. The new Troopers will report to their State Police Troop assignments where they will complete their training with field training Troopers.
