State Police Seeking Witnesses to Road Rage Incident in Seymour

On 09/14/2021, at approximately 8:48 am, Troop I in Bethany received a report of a road rage incident on Route 8 North in the area of Exit 21, in Seymour. The female victim had been operating a 2008 Hyundai Santa FE bearing a Massachusetts registration plate. The victim’s vehicle and the suspect vehicle, described as a gray colored sedan, bearing a partial Connecticut registration plate of “803”, were reported to have pulled over into the right shoulder. The victim exited her vehicle and approached the suspect vehicle. The unidentified operator of the gray sedan began to drive away from the scene while the victim was holding onto the suspect’s vehicle, causing the victim to fall onto the pavement and sustain minor injuries.
