State Police Investigate Reported Drowning in Stafford

Preliminary information indicates that on 08/26/2021, at approximately 3:08 PM, Troop C- Tolland, received a report of a possible drowning in the area of 21 Lyons Rd., in Stafford, CT. A 911 caller reported that an adult male had gone into a swimming area and had not resurfaced. CT State Police and Stafford Constables responded to assist the fire department in searching the area and located the body of the adult male victim. The decedent was identified as, Alaine Nitch-Ball (DOB 09/20/2000), a resident of Somers, CT. This investigation remains active at this time.
