New York Woman Arrested After Driving 118 MPH on I-95 in Stratford

On Tuesday September 2, 2025, at approximately 1:20 AM, a Trooper from Troop G - Bridgeport was conducting motor vehicle enforcement on I-95 south in the City of Stratford. At this time, the Trooper observed a red Audi A5 traveling at a high rate of speed, north of exit 33.
The vehicle was clocked traveling 118 mph in a posted 55 mph zone. Furthermore, the vehicle was observed travelling too closely to the vehicle in front of it, and was failing to maintain the established travel lane. Based on the violations observed, the Trooper initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle complied by pulling over.
The operator was identified as Inga Foksha (D.O.B. 07/24/1992) of New York, NY. Foksha was subsequently taken into custody, and charged with the following:
C.G.S. 14-222 - Reckless Driving
C.G.S. 53a-64 - Reckless Endangerment in the 2nd Degree
C.G.S. 14-236 - Failure to Maintain Lane
C.G.S. 14-240 - Following too Closely
C.G.S. 14-213b - Operating a Motor Vehicle without Minimum Insurance
Foksha was later released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear at Bridgeport Superior Court on October 6th, 2025, at 9:00 AM.
