Fire Apparatus Struck on I-95 in Greenwich, Multiple Injuries Reported

On 06/27/2024, at approximately 1:06 a.m., Troopers assigned to Troop G in Bridgeport were investigating a collision on I-95 southbound prior to Exit 4 in Greenwich. While emergency personnel were working at the active scene, a vehicle approaching the scene struck stationary fire department apparatus parked in the right and center travel lanes, which had been shut down for the investigation.
