Body Discovered in Vehicle at Danbury Commuter Lot

Preliminary information indicates that on Saturday, 08/28/2021, at approximately 7:12PM, Troop A – Southbury received a report of a strong odor emanating from a gray, Honda CR-V, bearing a California license plate, parked in the I-84 eastbound Exit 2 commuter lot, in Danbury. Responding Troopers located an adult female inside of the parked vehicle, who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The deceased female was identified as Joanna Lynne Walker (age 71), of Rancho Murieta, California. This incident remains under investigation at this time.
