The Recruitment and Selections Unit will be hosting a Women In Policing session on
Saturday, June 25th, 2022, at the training academy in Meriden. We will run (2) sessions
from 10:00a-12:00p and 2:00p-4:00p.
The purpose of this information session is to provide information and exposure to women
who have an interest in law enforcement and becoming a Connecticut State Trooper. It
will give women an opportunity to speak with our female troopers, in a female-
dominated setting, about a career as a Connecticut State Trooper and the emphasis on
females working in this role.
Potential candidates will have the opportunity to speak with any trooper in small groups
or one-on-one, while also enjoying refreshments.
