Weapons Violation Leads to Arrest

On Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:39 p.m., Troopers out of Troop G-Bridgeport were conducting motor vehicle enforcement in the area of Route 8 Southbound in the City of Bridgeport. Troopers observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop and later discovered a loaded .357 Smith and Wesson Revolver with a scratched off serial number in the operators possession.
