On Friday, January 3, 2025, Troopers assigned to Troop G- Bridgeport served an active arrest warrant on Kyle Thomas (DOB: 03/08/1991), of West Haven, who was being held at Bridgeport Correctional Center on other charges. The warrant for the arrest of Thomas stemmed from an investigation conducted by Detectives with the CSP Violent Crimes Task Force following a shooting incident.
Thomas was processed in the correctional facility processing area and charged with the following violations pursuant to the arrest warrant:
C.G.S. 21a-279(a)(1) - Possession of a Controlled Substance
C.G.S. 53a-217 - Criminal Possession of a Ammunition
C.G.S. 53a-217 - Criminal Possession of a Firearm
C.G.S. 53a-217d - Criminal Possession of Body Armor
Thomas remained in custody on a $350,000 court-set bond for these charges and is scheduled at Milford Superior Court on 01/06/2025.
