Troopers and Woodbury Officers Investigate Vehicle Theft in Woodbury

On Sunday, 04/16/2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Troopers and Woodbury Officers responded to a report of a vehicle stolen from an apartment complex located on Tuttle Road in Woodbury. The vehicle was identified as a silver, 2017 Hyundai Elantra, bearing New Hampshire Registration “4212433”, and was taken sometime between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.. The Hyundai had been locked and the keys were in the owner's possession. It is believed that the vehicle was entered by smashing the passenger side rear window and that its ignition had been “hot-wired”.

As investigators were checking the surrounding area, two additional Hyundai Elantra sedans were discovered to have been entered in a similar manner, in apparent attempts to take the vehicles. All three vehicles were identified as Hyundai Elantra sedans between the model years 2014-2018.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop L (860)626-7900 or the Woodbury Resident Trooper's Office (203)263-3400.
