Seymour Man Arrest Following Criminal Investigation
On Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at approximately 6:00p.m., Detectives from the Statewide Narcotics Task Force - Northwest Office (SNTF), with assistance from Officers of Seymour Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at 119 Squantuck Road in Seymour.
The search warrant execution was the culmination of an investigation into the illegal cultivation of marijuana occurring on the property. Detectives were able to seize over 100 marijuana plants in various stages of growth. In addition, several items including grow lights, fertilizer, fans, ballasts, and pottery were located, dismantled, and rendered inoperable by Detectives.
With the assistance of K-9 Darlene, Firearms/Ammunition Detection K-9, the search warrant also yielded thousands of rounds of ammunition, 10 rifles, 11 lower receivers, 7 handguns, and over 100 high capacity magazines. It should be noted that an 8 year-old child was present at the time of the search warrant execution, and several of the firearms were located in the immediate vicinity of the child's toys.
The target of the investigation was identified as Adrian Stock (D.O.B: 06-22-1971). The target was arrested and processed at Troop A-Southbury, where he was held on a $100,000 Cash/Surety Bond. Stock was charged with Operation of a Drug Factory, Cultivation of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana Greater Than 1 Kilo, and Risk of Injury.
