Killingly Man Facing Charges Following Assault Complaint at Owen Bell Park

Troopers from Troop D in Danielson along with the Killingly Police Department responded to Owen Bell Park on Town Farm Rd in Killingly in the afternoon of Friday, 06/07/24. An adult female complainant reported she was inappropriately touched in a sexual manner by an unidentified white male while she was walking in the park. The complainant managed to obtain a photograph of the male during the interaction, which corroborated her account of the incident. As the male had fled on foot after the incident, a K9 track was conducted. The track ended with positive findings, as the CSP K9 tracked directly to the suspect's location. The suspect was found wearing the same clothing as depicted in the complainant's photo. The suspect was identified as Marc Kaczor, DOB 06/25/87, of Dayville. In addition, Kaczor was positively identified by the complainant after he was located. Based upon the information obtained and evidence observed during the on-scene investigation, Kaczor was placed under arrest and transported to Troop D for processing. Kaczor was charged with violation C.G.S. 53a-181; Breach of Peace 2nd Degree, 53a-73a; Sexual Assault 4th Degree and 53a-96; Unlawful Restraint 2nd Degree. Kaczor was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on 06/10/24.
