Detectives Make Arrest in 2022 Bolton Stabbing Investigation

On 10/11/2022, at approximately 7:50 PM, Troop K - Colchester received a 9-1-1 call from Robert Robbins, DOB 07/22/1954, who reported that he had stabbed the victim in an apartment located at 890 Boston Turnpike in Bolton, CT, which is a multi-unit apartment building. Troopers and EMS responded and rendered aid. The victim was transported to Manchester Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. Eastern District Major Crime Detectives responded and assumed the investigation. On 03/06/2023, at approximately 11:40 AM, Robert Robbins was taken into custody on the strength of an arrest warrant and transported to Troop K, where he was processed and charged with:

C.G.S. 53a-55 Manslaughter in the First Degree.

Robbins was held on a $100,000.00 bond and scheduled for arraignment at Rockville Superior Court on 03/07/2023.
