Detectives Arrest Waterbury Man on Robbery, Assault, Weapons Charges

On 06/09/2022, at approximately 10:00 AM, Western District Major Crime Detectives assigned to Troop A – Southbury arrived at the Waterbury Superior Court to serve Steven Texidor, DOB 11/20/1990, with the attached arrest warrant from GA# 23, in New Haven.

Texidor, who was held in custody on unrelated matters, was processed at court and charged with the following:

C.G.S. 53a-217 Criminal Possession of a Firearm

C.G.S. 53a-59 Assault in the 1st Degree

C.G.S. 53a-134 Robbery 1st Degree

C.G.S. 29-35 Carrying a Pistol or Revolver Without a Permit

C.G.S. 53a-48/53a-59 Conspiracy to Commit Assault 1st Degree

C.G.S. 53a-48/53a-134 Conspiracy to Commit Robbery 1st Degree.

A $250,000.00 bond was set by GA #23.

Texidor was presented for a same-day arraignment.
