On Tuesday, 11/19/24 at approximately 5:00 PM, Christopher Lazo (DOB 11/21/97), of Bridgeport, turned himself into Troop G- Bridgeport on the strength of an active arrest warrant. The warrant for Lazo's arrest stemmed from a fatal motor vehicle accident investigation which began in December 2023. Lazo was arrested without incident and processed on the following charges pursuant to the arrest warrant:
CGS 14-222a; Negligent Homicide with a Motor Vehicle
CGS 14-236; Failure to Maintain Proper Lane- Limited Access Highway
CGS 14-232(a)(1); Improper Passing/Unsafe Distance/Cutting in
Lazo was later released from custody on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Bridgeport Superior Court on 12/23/24. Please see the attached arrest warrant and criminal information summary.
